My Homeschool Journey
I didn’t learn how to homeschool from a textbook, nor from research about it —I’ve lived it and I’ve loved it.
It has been the most rewarding endeavor I have ever set my heart and hands toward and the investment into my children’s lives has given back to me 100 fold.
I’ve taught three children through all the stages of home education right here in Brooklyn, NY:
My oldest graduated summa cum laude and is thriving in her adult life.
My second is studying at at Liberty University while training to become an electrician.
My youngest is entering high school level next year and I plan to homeschool her throughout high school as I did with my other two.
Along the way, I experienced the same fears and questions new families wrestle with:
Am I doing enough? Which curriculum is right? Am I going to get this wrong? Will my child become isolated and weird?
I remember being in need of having someone who could reassure me, guide me, and put my mind at ease.
Now, it’s my joy to fill that need and be that person for other families.
